poetry posse | july 16 2005


YOU are invited to attend an interactive saturday writing workshop (poetry posse) led by vida cross. the goal of this workshop is to generate poetry by engaging in writing exercises and then reading/performing what's created at the august 17 rec room reading. all who attend the workshop will participate in at least five writing exercises and all are encouraged to bring copies of an exercise or writing prompt to share with others in the group.

about vida cross

vida cross has an MFAW from the school of the art institute of chicago (SAIC), an MFA in film/studio from SAIC, and an MA in english literature (Creative Writing) from Iowa State University. Most recently her work has appeared in WarpLand, The Journal of Film and Video and the Mochila Review. Currently, she is working on an art exhibition book.
