Erin Teegarden ("e.t.") is the co-founder, co-organizer and emcee of rec room. Currently, she teaches college english composition, critical thinking, and literature. e.t. received an MFA from the University of Pittsburgh in poetry and a BA from Indiana University in journalism. She is the founder and former managing editor of the University of Pittsburgh's first online literary journal,nidus. She is a former recipient of the Associated Writing Programs' "Intro Journals Award," and her poetry has appeared or is forthcoming in: pms (poemmemoirstory), Conte Online, Lorraine and James, the Bellingham Review, Eye-Rhyme, Sunspinner, Poetry Motel, Liberty Hill Poetry Review, and Pittsburgh's City Paper, among others. Trinette Mura is a Chicago-based artist who designs posters and t-shirts for rec room. Trinette has worked for Buddy Guy as the creative director at his famous blues club in Chicago's south loop. Trinette studied fine arts, photography and graphic design at Columbia College and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her accomplishments include several photography awards from the Union League Club. Trinette's photos, canvases and murals have appeared in homes and galleries. Miki Howald is rec room's web mistress and also writes its blog entries. Miki earned an MFA in creative writing from the University of Alaska Anchorage and a BA from the University of Pittsburgh. Her essays have been published in Gulf Coast, Like Water Burning, and in several zines. She has performed her work at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, the First Friday Reading Series in Anchorage, AK, and the Quiet Storm café in Pittsburgh, PA. She was a finalist in the 2006 Guild Complex of Chicago's non-fiction prose contest. Miki writes grants for money, but not for herself. Contact her at miki@recroomers.com  More about Miki
